How can I stop my tank from leaking?

The short answer is…… can’t!!  No tank is 100% leak free (despite what the manufacturer may claim) and they will always leak even a little bit of e-Liquid.

Here are just a few tips on how to minimise wasted juice:

  • When changing your coil, always make sure it is screwed in correctly.
  • Check that your coil is in working order as a burnt coil will not hold the liquid.
  • Make sure your glass is not cracked.
  • Check for damage on the O-rings and replace if necessary.
  • After fitting the coil, ensure the tank is put back together correctly.
  • Some tanks ask for the airflow to be closed whilst refilling.
  • When filling your tank, always refer to your manufacturer’s guide book.
  • When you are not using your mod, try and leave it in a vertical position.
  • Try not to overfill your tank.
  • Always empty your tank before going on a plane as the air pressure can cause your tank to leak.

Vaper expo UK 2017

By No Limits Blogs, Vaper Expo Uk, Vaping No Comments

May bank holiday weekend brought us another exciting event on the events calendar. Entering their 3rd year, vape expo was upon us. Staying at the NEC in Birmingham but changing rooms was needed due to the exhibition growing in size and capacity every time. With the May show being the first of two scheduled events per year, Vaper Expo has become one of the top trade shows in the UK and Europe, with vapers, brands, manufacturers coming from far and wide to be part of the vaping experience.

I attended the B2B day on Friday 26th May 2017. I saw hundreds of fellow vapers descend upon the NEC in anticipation of trying new flavours and devices wanting to find a new favourite. This was the first vape meet in Europe after the dreaded TPD had kicked in and I was interested in what routes the smaller companies had taken.

The whole day felt different to me compared to last few I’ve been to. You could feel the solidarity in the room and the support that companies were offering each other was completely different. Maybe the TPD has something to do with this. Maybe people are working a lot more together now because of the new regulations that came in force on the 20th May 2017.

I was quite surprised when I saw the amount of companies going down the ‘shake and vape’ (adding a nacho) route. Clearly the TPD has scared no-one off.

I felt the whole day was a great success and I’m very excited for the next one. I may even look at a foreign expo later on in the year.

Until next time, vape safe!!!!!!!

Vape Jam 2017

Vape Jam, alike many other vape expos, had all the excitement, wonder and awe of every other expo. However, Vape Jam three had a little extra anticipation and mystery around the dawning TPD. With the TPD right around the corner, it was easy to see every one queuing up was almost dreading what hid behind the curtain. Was today all going to be about getting rid of naughty big bottles or showcasing there new compliant stock?

Vape Jam, with 159 stalls, had nearly every flavour possible under the sun, countless devices and a pretty overwhelming atmosphere with every 10th stall pumping out music and offering their cream of the crop. Funnily enough, the first stall we stopped at was solely focusing on getting shot of their 30 and 60ml bottles with no intention of becoming a compliant brand, which set a very confusing tone as we embarked on our tour around the expo. From that point on, all that was visible was 10ml complaint stock (which for many high VG clouders is quite the pain).

I walked into jam expecting all vendors to be throwing out their soon to be non compliant stock, but much to my surprise it was quite the opposite. Only a handful of vendors, with no intention of going compliant, were getting rid of their naughty big bottles. Every one else on the other hand could not wait to flaunt their compliant stock, and even the majority of testers and samples packs came in 10ml bottles. Which for me was quite the downer especially after attending Vaper Expo the year before and being thrown 60ml bottles to try their product; which is far more enticing, in my opinion.

For me the biggest part of an expo is trying the juices! Walking through the archway and knowing that there is a world full of flavour awaiting a head of you is like being a kid a fair ground and wanting to go on every single ride. Compared to other expos I had attended, there was a massive increase in cold, Malaysian (and even compliant) juices. This came as a shock to me as I had predicted that most Malaysian companies had such a desire for their Liquids that they wouldn’t need to go complaint, especially with all the extra costs of finalising the product.
